Mark your calendars, Oakland...Here comes Year Five!

Photo Caption here and Photo Credit hereWhile it feels like we're still coming down from the food high of 2012's Eat Real Festival, we know you guys are insatiable. Even as we wrapped our last festival, we were already getting questions about 2013! Well, hungry ones, here's a little appetizer for what's to come:

Eat Real Oakland will take place in Jack London Square on September 27-29th, 2013!

Mark your calendars, clear your travel schedules, and plan to be part of the party like never before. This is Year Five, baby! And we've got lots of big (delicious) ideas in store for you. For one, The Food Craft Institute, has been working their crafty butts off with along with some of the best local food makers to nurture new opportunities for up-and-coming food businesses. We are super excited about the new CA Homemade Food Act and plan to highlight REALLY small food entrepreneurs (think: home kitchens) in the ever-popular Food Craft Marketplace! We're also crafting new ways for festival-goers to get involved, get their hands dirty and discover the best food the Bay Area has to offer! So stay tuned on our Facebook page and Twitter feed for exciting sneak peeks in the coming months.

For those of you looking to get in on the action as a vendor, demonstrator, or performer at the Eat Real Festival, our Participation Form will be going live on our website in April. And don't worry, we'll be shouting it from the rooftops as soon as it's up!

We know 8 months feels like a long way away, but time flies when you're eating real! In the meantime, check out some of these other great upcoming events:

~ Oakland Restaurant Week - happening NOW! Eat up!
~ SF Beer Week - February 8-17th...Cheers!
~ Jack London Square Events - there's always fun to be had on the Waterfront!
