Take a walk on the wild side with foragingSF! From wild nettle to gleaned fruit, free and organic food is everywhere—including wild fields and your own backyard. ForageSF is sponsoring two days of edible plant walks in San Francisco and the East Bay where participants will spend a couple hours learning how to identify and use wild food—the last day’s tour ending at the Eat Real foraging and canning exchange. Participants will also receive a wild food “cheat sheet” to later forage on their own. Tours are $20. 12pm, August 26 and 28.
First pick your day, and then choose from three different walks: the art of gleaning, medicinal plants, and general wild edibles. Get tickets here.
