What happens when some of the best restaurants in the Bay Area join forces with Eat Real’s non-profit partners? A week filled with eight tasty fundraising dinners, that’s what. Proceeds from each dinner benefit a specific food accessibility and/ or economic development organization.

Camino and Civil Eats: a four-course family-style feast featuring paella made in the Camino fireplace, beautiful, local, organic summer produce and cheeses from Andante Dairy and Harley Farms. Pizzaiolo logo Community Alliance with Family Farms

 

Starting at 6:00 pm, join CAFF for a reception celebrating the 2009 Bay Area Local Food Guide with wine (Donkey and Goat, Porter Creek, Alhambra Valley, Clif Bar Family Winery), cheese (Harley Farms Goat Dairy, Redwood Hill), Pizzaiolo pizzas, oysters from (Drakes Bay) and live music in the back courtyard of Pizzaiolo. Play bacci ball with farmers and savor the flavors of Bay Area wine and food artisans.  At 7:30, sit down and savor a three-course meal prepared by Chef & Owner, Charlie Hallowell. Flora and Meals for Change: Happy Hour from 3-6pm features free street-food-inspired snacks including housemade french fries, corn dog bites, caramel popcorn, mixed olives and roasted nuts.
